We Need Your Input on Planned Projects Receiving Federal Funding

Fairfax County has released its draft FY 2023 One-Year Action Plan for public comment. The One-Year Action Plan outlines proposed projects and activities for which Fairfax County will invest the nearly $9 million in federal affordable housing, community development, and public services funding it expects to receive.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PERIOD FEBRUARY 9, 2022, UNTIL MARCH 22, 2022

The expected funding will be provided through the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grant. These programs are administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Proposed uses for these funds have specific emphasis on assisting older adults, individuals with disabilities, individuals and households experiencing homelessness, and households with extremely low incomes.
