The Department of Housing and Community Development Rental Assistance Demonstration program (formerly Public Housing) waitlist was open from July 10 to July 23, 2018. During that time, there were more than 13,000 applicants for the designated 2,000 waitlist slots. On August 29, 2018, a computer generated random selection was run and an email was sent to all applicants, whether selected or not, informing them of the results. It is estimated that the 2,000 households selected to the waitlist will be a two to three year supply of potential RAD participants.
