People who live in affordable housing supported by the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will have the opportunity to apply for academic scholarships beginning February 10, 2025. Up to ten applicants will receive a $5,000 scholarship for postsecondary education including technical training.

“The FCRHA seeks to create a Fairfax County everyone can afford to call home. This includes providing opportunities for people to garner education that will advance their economic status,” said Lenore Stanton, Chair, FCRHA.

Who can apply: Fairfax County residents who live in affordable housing supported by the FCRHA. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited postsecondary educational institution and be a resident of Fairfax County for at least six months.
