Help guide spending priorities for federal grant funds

Fairfax County anticipates receiving an estimated $8.3 million in federal grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in fiscal year 2026 to support housing, human services, and community development priorities. The County is seeking community feedback on proposed priorities, strategies, goals and activities to guide the investment of these funds.

The Draft One-Year Action Plan describes proposed activities that would be prioritized for these federal funds. These immediate actions are in service of overall goals and strategies outlined in the Five-Year Consolidated Plan for fiscal years 2022 – 2026.
