What are your opinions on affordable housing in the region? The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority, along with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (COG), need feedback on a draft application for affordable housing funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The draft application is for “Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing” grant funds. The grant supports communities actively taking steps to remove barriers to affordable housing. The COG application is for funding to support activities that will remove barriers and increase production of affordable housing in the region.
