We recently learned that our friend and former colleague, Will Jasper, passed away on October 4 following a brief illness. Will served on the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) as an at-large commissioner and vice chairman for many years, and was an indispensable contributor to the life of our community. He was a thoughtful and trusted steward of the public trust, a real believer in the transformative power of stable and affordable housing, and one of the kindest people one could ever meet. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Will’s wife Darhyl, daughter Nyka, and twin grandchildren Isaac and Samantha at this difficult time.
