Fairfax County, APAH to Announce Major Investment in Affordable Housing in Tysons

Join Fairfax County, the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA), the Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing (APAH), and Virginia Housing for the announcement of an investment of $55 million to advance the delivery of more than 500 units of affordable housing in the Tysons area located in Hunter Mill District.

While Dominion Square West project was previously envisioned as two phases, each an apartment building of fully committed affordable housing catalyzed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors approval of more than $30 million in financial support, this new investment will allow APAH to construct both buildings (North and South) at once. The resulting development represents Tyson’s first and largest fully affordable housing project. The project will be developed by APAH on property which will be owned by the FCRHA in the Hunter Mill District of the county.
